As always, the Memorial Day Ceremony, May 27, 2013, on the Parade in Shelburne was a tremendous success. This was only accomplished by the outstanding support provided by those involved in the planning process through the location of the trailer and tent to the final conduct of the ceremony. And, I wish to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for such dedication. As I have said before, I am not going to attempt to name all those involved in this endeavor for fear of forgetting someone. That would be a big mistake on my part. Let me just say again, thank you for your efforts, time, and dedication in making the ceremony such a great success. As always, I want to thank all those in attendance for making this a special day. And, the weather cleared for us. Tremendous thanks go out to Mr. Alexander Wilde, a Holocaust survivor, who made us realize how lucky we are to have the freedom we enjoy.
