At its meeting on June 19, the Development Review Board (DRB) moved quickly through its agenda in considering four pending applications and approved all four:
A design review application by Barbara & Andy Comeau for the repair and restoration for their carriage house and two attached sheds at 985 Falls Road, subject to the approval of the Historic Preservation and Design Review Commission (HP&DRC) for the windows and doors selected for the project.
An amendment to the conditional use, site plan, and design review approval for the expansion of the Stoner Andrews professional office and an apartment at 181 Falls Road, adding a two-story addition to the rear of the building. The plans had previously been approved by the HP&DRC.
A conditional use application submitted by Kevin and Kirsten Dwyer for an expansion of their home at 6529 Spear Street and the addition of a one-bedroom accessory apartment. This application had been continued from the DRB’s last meeting so that the Dwyers could provide a land survey proving that the expansion would meet the setback requirement. The Dwyers did so and received approval.
An amendment to a previously approved Final Plan for a relocation of the driveway and the addition of a fire pond, septic system, and barn at 899 Barstow Road.
The DRB will not meet on July 3. Their next meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 17 at 7 pm in the Municipal Center.
