Garden with a view on Thursday, July 11 at 1 pm. See firsthand how your favorite underground vegetables really grow by constructing a root view garden. Watch carrots and radishes grow, and eat the finished product!

Everyone has seen video rental kiosks and knows how cheap their movie rentals are per night. The Pierson Library can beat their prices every day of the week. For the month of July we will have a display set up called “Read Box” where you can check out the movies and corresponding books, if there is one, for $0 per night. We have an awesome selection of DVDs and Blu-Rays to appeal to everyone in the family. Think of all the money you can then use for your summer vacation!

Looking for something to do while the weather is unpredictable? The Pierson Library has a great selection of museums generously sponsored by the Friends of the Pierson Library. Are you planning a trip to Montpelier to check out the state capital and lunch on the lawn? Check out the Vermont Historical Society museum pass to explore while you are there. If you are planning a trip to St. Johnsbury don’t forget to grab the Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium and the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum Public Library and Art Gallery passes.

Have you used any of our passes this year or previous years? We would love your reviews of your visit to post on our Facebook page, with your permission, to share with others. If you have already liked us on Facebook, share your reviews directly on our page. We love to hear from our patrons.
