Night of laughter benefits cancer research Sept. 19

Sept-1-A-Comedy-on-the-Brain-LogoEnjoy an evening of laughter for cancer research as “Comedy on the Brain!” returns for its third year Thursday, Sept. 19 at The Old Lantern in Charlotte. Doors open at 6 pm with a silent auction featuring over 30 items from local merchants, craftspeople and more, complimentary appetizers, and a cash bar. See two magic illusions performed by Neon Savage (Ted Montgomery) and Lady Electra (Rita Murphy) beginning at 7 pm; the comedy show will follow at 7:30 pm featuring Vermont Comedy Divas (Josie Leavitt, Sue Schmidt, Carmen Lagala, and Autumn Spencer) delivering their brand of humor to fight the tumor! At 9 pm, a live action with Josie Leavitt will commence.
