Kristin Elizabeth Blumen and Ryan George Mills were united in marriage on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at The Inn at the Round Barn Farm in Waitsfield, Vt. The ceremony was officiated by Cricket Cooper, friend of the bride. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Blumen of Hinesburg and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry White of Hinesburg and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Blumen of Shelburne. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Mills of Shelburne and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Leavenworth of Concord, N.H., Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sharp of Concord, N.H., Mr. F. Harvey Mills of Vero Beach, Fla. and the late Mrs. F. Harvey Mills. Austin Kuch served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Nathan Mills, brother of the groom and Nicolas Blumen, brother of the bride. Samantha White, cousin of the bride, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Carole Ann Dery and Lauren Jones. The bride is a graduate of Champlain Valley Union High School. She attended Northeastern University and graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts followed by a Master of Science in Communication Science and Disorders. She is employed by St. Albans High School as a Speech and Language Pathologist. The groom is a graduate of Champlain Valley Union High School. He graduated from RPI with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelors of Science in Materials Science. He is an engineer at Microstrain in Williston. After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple returned to Essex, where they reside with their black lab puppy, Callie.
