Allie Stickney, President/CEO of Wake Robin, has announced her plans to retire, effective at the end of June 2014. In making her announcement to residents, Stickney thanked the staff and community for the privilege of leading the Wake Robin Community since 2006.
Board Chair David Provost expressed his appreciation for Stickney’s leadership of the community. “Allie has brought together an incredibly talented staff who are all focused on the same priority: serving residents. With her leadership, Wake Robin has continued to maintain a strong financial position—even through the worst recession in recent history.”
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Wake Robin has been in the midst of Strategic and Facilities planning processes. Speaking to residents, Provost said that the Board “is committed to continuing these exciting planning initiatives.” He noted the 9-month lead time Stickney has provided, saying, “We intend to conduct a national search to find the most qualified candidate to lead this special community. The Board of Directors appreciates having the time for a thoughtful and fruitful search.”
