Shelburne Vineyard’s annual Wine and Food Festival and Food Shelf Benefit will take place on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 11 am-5 pm. Some of Vermont’s finest wines and specialty food producers will be on hand, sampling their wares, including Shelburne Vineyard, Eden Ice Cider, Artesano Mead, and East Shore Vineyard. Pair those samples with tasty tidbits from Vermont Smoke and Cure, Blackflower Chocolates, Red Hen Bakery, Olivia’s Croutons, Shelburne Farms, Mt. Mansfield Creamery, It’s Arthur’s Fault, Douglas Sweets, and Rustic Roots Cafe. Bring along your shopping bags and your holiday gift list! Throughout the day, gift packages donated by vendors will be raffled off. Admission is free when you bring along a donation of non-perishable food items for the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf. Last year, this event collected over 3,000 pounds of food items. Plan on having a wonderful afternoon and go home satiated by Vermont’s culinary masters, knowing the holidays have been made fuller for our less fortunate neighbors!
