Albert P. Curtis Sr., 81, of Falcon Manor Apt. 114, in Williston, was called to rest on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, in Starr Farm Nursing Center as result of a sudden stroke while recovering in rehab from minor surgery. Prior to his death he was surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Shelburne on Aug. 4, 1932, the son of the late Ezra Curtis Sr. and Rose Lavallette. He married Arona A. Atkins, of Lincoln, at St. Jude’s Church in Hinesburg in 1955. That began their life of 58 years together. They lovingly raised three children. Albert was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters. Albert served during the Korean Conflict War and was stationed in France. He was a beloved family man. He worked for the Burlington Street Department and retired from A.C. Paving Company. Thank you to all the health care professionals who took care of Albert.
