South Burlington’s defense in critical situations was key to their 27-0 win over Champlain Valley during the D-I semifinal game last Friday night. Stopped three times inside the 10-yard line, the Redhawks were unable to capitalize on plays when necessary. Jason Cora led CVU with 69 yards, Jack Austin had 42 yards on three passes, while Steele DuBrul had 14 carries for 34 yards. The third-seeded Redhawks ended the season with a 7-3 record.
