Phillip R. Johnson, 63, died on Nov. 10, 2013, in the Vermont Respite House in Williston, after a long illness. He was born Dec. 27, 1949, in Middlebury, the son of Andrew and Evangelyn (Duncan) Johnson. He was a graduate of Bristol High School and also attended Phillips Exeter Academy and Lowell Technical College. He worked for many years at The A Johnson Co. in Bristol, and later ran his own computer services business. He enjoyed reading, building computers and tinkering with machinery and equipment. Phillip was an avid Boston sports fan, and loved spending time with his family. Among others, he is survived his brother, David F. Johnson, and wife Pamela of Shelburne. The family wishes to thank Addison Family Practice (Dr. Michael Graham and his staff), Middlebury Foot Works, Addison County Home Health & Hospice, and the staff at the Vermont Respite House for the exceptional care that Phillip received. Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, from 12 to 2 pm at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 2 pm. The Rev.
