Due to a scheduling conflict for Mr. Goebeille on Tuesday, Nov. 12, the Selectboard’s discussion of the Sewer Boundary Expansion has been postponed until the following meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 26. I am sure that it was an innocent oversight on part of the Selectboard, as it is two days before the Thanksgiving holiday.
I am respectfully requesting the Selectboard to reschedule the Sewer Boundary discussion until its meeting on Dec. 10, 2013. Many Shelburne residents have scheduling conflicts on Nov. 26, such as traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday, welcoming guests to their homes for the holiday, and “Stunt Night” at the Flynn, one of the biggest events of the year for Rice High School, a school where many Shelburne students attend.
By rescheduling the Sewer Boundary discussion to Dec. 10, it will allow many residents to attend the meeting to voice their opinions on potential unprecedented growth in our town and be a part of the decision-making process. I feel confident the Selectboard would welcome resident input.
