Foraging and growing mushrooms, exploring at Shelburne Farms

Two mushroom experts, Ari Rockland-Miller, The Mushroom Forager, and Steve Gabriel of Work with Nature, will lead a foray into the world of mushroom foraging and cultivation at Shelburne Farms.
On Saturday, June 2 a workshop for adults, “Mushrooms, Wild & Cultivated,” will take place from 9 am to 4 pm There will be time in the woods of Shelburne Farms hunting for wild mushrooms of all shapes and sizes, learning the best strategies to find and safely identify them
And everyone will take home an inoculated log to grow their own mushrooms.
