MySilverPages.org is pleased to announce the launching of its new website designed to engage the 50+ active adult, as an online community resource, interactive blog, and the Elderpreneur of the Year event on May 16 at the ECHO Lake Aquarium. MySilverPages.org launches these new initiatives to engage the Greater Burlington area and Vermont community in celebrating productive and valued aging.
“We asked ourselves this question: how could we gather information about our health, the possibilities for learning, our desire to create, suggestions for adapting to this period in our lives? We turned to the Internet. Much to our disappointment, we were unable to find one central source for information and engagement for our interests as we were aging,” says Rad Romeyn, Founder of mysilverpages.org.
The signature event, Elderpreneur of the Year, will take place on May 16 at the ECHO Lake Aquarium. An event designed to celebrate productive 50+ adults in our community, an Elderpreneur is an older (50+) individual who, through their own recent initiatives, has served as a vital positive role model and has had a profound impact on their business, non-profit organization, or community. The First Annual Elderpreneur of the Year Awards program, run by MySilverPages.org, will recognize and acknowledge those individuals who have been nominated by their peers at the May 16 awards reception at the Echo Center on the Burlington Waterfront.
How can I nominate an Elderpreneur for this award?
If you and your business or organization wants to send a message of support out to the community for productive and valued aging, consider participation as a nominator and/or a sponsor.
