SMC plans all-sports clinic benefit for Make-A-Wish Nov. 24

The Saint Michael’s College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is set to hold another fundraiser on Nov. 24, utilizing an all-sports skills clinic to continue its work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The clinic, geared toward boys and girls in kindergarten through eightth grade, costs $15 to attend. All proceeds go toward Make-A-Wish and future SAAC programming. SAAC recently put together the successful “Pie Your Professor” event on Oct. 12, raising $333.19 for Make-A-Wish.

The SAAC Clinic will run from 1-4 pm and focus on basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, soccer, baseball, softball, and an agility/obstacle course station. Each camper will have the opportunity to participate in each sport and receive skill instruction from Saint Michael’s student-athletes. A concession stand will be selling various snacks and drinks. Interested parents can visit www.SMCAthletics.com for a registration form, which they can then bring to the clinic.

For more information about the event, contact women’s basketball head coach and SAAC coordinator Shannon Kynoch at 654-2503 or skynoch@smcvt.edu.
