The Stern Center for Language and Learning, a nonprofit learning center with locations in Williston, Vt. and West Lebanon, N. H., elected new members, including Shelburne resident Jon Pizzagalli and new Shelburne business owner Sarah Beal, to its Board of Directors during its annual meeting on Oct. 17.
Jon Pizzagalli is the Director of Special Operations at PC Construction in South Burlington. He holds a BS in Agricultural Economics from UVM and a Masters of Real Estate Development from MIT. In addition to sitting on the Stern Center’s board, Jon also serves as a board member for the Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation. He lives with his wife and three children in Shelburne.
Sarah Beal holds a BA from Colgate University and recently opened a new retail store, Common Deer, in Shelburne. Prior to this project, Sarah worked as the Director of Communications, Marketing, and Tourism for the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is very active and enjoys skiing, sailing, biking, hiking, and playing hockey.
Other new members of the Board of Directors include Brian Till and Sara Trimmer.
