Champlain Valley Union (CVU) High School’s Business Ethics class will host the 7th annual Family Formal on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, as a fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. A dance for children and their families, the Family Formal allows children to get dressed up, attend a function with important adults in their lives, and help make a wish come true for a child living with a life threatening illness in the community.
The dance will be held in the CVU cafeteria from 4:30 to 7:30 pm on Sunday, Jan. 19. Tickets will be sold for $15 per adult, $5 per child, and $40 for a family of four or more. The class goal is to raise $7,500. All proceeds will be donated to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Vermont to sponsor the wish of a child from Chittenden County. This is a great opportunity to spend time with your family, support a great cause, and have fun!
The Business Ethics class will provide family photos, dancing, a silent auction, and food. Reserve tickets by completing the form on page 9 of the Shelburne News and mailing it with payment to Tamie-Jo Dickinson, CVU High School, 369 CVU Road, Hinesburg, VT 05461. Checks should be made payable to CVU.
