Shelburne Museum Director Thomas Denenberg announced the donation of a new security vehicle by local car dealership The Automaster. The Shelburne-based dealership donated a white 2014 Honda CR-V to the museum.

“We couldn’t be more appreciative of the generosity of our neighbor, The Automaster, in making this generous gift,” Denenberg said. “The CR-V will be put to work right away by our Protection Services staff, who require reliable transportation to patrol the museum grounds 24-7, 365 days a year.”

John DuBrul, Automaster vice-president, presented the keys to Denenberg earlier this month.  The Automaster has been a longtime supporter of the museum through both corporate membership and sponsorship of events.

“We at the Automaster are proud to support Shelburne Museum through membership and event sponsorship. This was another way to show how much we value the museum’s important cultural contribution to the community and the state,” DuBrul said. “Besides, with the museum opening a new building, it seemed an opportune time for security to have a brand new car to go with it.”
