Betsy Standish, 70, of Morristown, was arrested for sexual abuse of a vulnerable adult, following an investigation into a Jan. 2 incident.
Diego Gray, 21, of Hardwick, was arrested for driving under the influence after police investigated a March 31 crash on the corner of Bridge Street and the bypass.
April 19 at 1:23 a.m., a person who reported they were being assaulted later denied being in a physical altercation.
April 19 at 9:31 a.m., a dispute between neighbors in the Pinewood Estates area grew to involve the neighbors’ dogs, too.
April 19 at 1:49 p.m., someone reported seeing a person in a white Ford Explorer dump a bunch of tires on the side of the road near Bliss Hill and Neuland roads. The witness, however, didn’t get a good look at the license plate.
April 19 at 2:02 p.m., a person asked police whether a court protection order was still in place.
April 19 at 8:48 p.m., police responded to Harrell Street, where Michael Mallen, 45, had died. Police are investigating the cause of death but do not suspect foul play.
April 19 at 10:44 p.m., Nathan Lockwood, 29, of Morristown, was arrested for domestic assault, after police responded to an incident on Bridge Street.
April 20 at 9:42 p.m., a child unhappy about being reprimanded by their parents called police to report them. Police did not lend credence to the young caller.
April 21 at 9:54 a.m., a First Street resident thought someone in a car was casing their home.
April 21 at 11:27 a.m., someone reported seeing a kid walking along Randolph Road with a blanket over their head.
April 21 at 5:04 p.m., police trespassed a pair of people from Morrisville Water & Light property near the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail.
April 21 at 5:32 p.m., a person reported having suicidal thoughts.
April 21 at 5:54 p.m., a dog owner on Route 15 told police he was upset because his pet had been hit by a car. Police said the driver was not at fault.
April 21 at 8:57 p.m., a Park Street resident said kids were playing ding dong ditch, knocking on doors and running away.
April 22 at 4:12 p.m., some folks got bit when someone accidentally let their tenant’s dog loose. The owner got a warning from the animal control officer to not let it happen again.
April 22 at 9:19 p.m., Kasey Ainsworth, 31, of Morristown, was arrested for violating conditions of release on Portland Street.
April 22 at 11:18 p.m., a person in a truck parked after hours at Oxbow Park told police he was just napping, but police moved him along.
April 23 at 9:59 a.m., a person driving along Harrell Street saw a parked pick-up truck with what appeared to be a bunch of toys from the caller’s yard. The driver told police he thought the stuff was free and took it, but returned it to the rightful owner.
April 23 at 2:27 p.m., Christopher Cochran, 44, of Morristown, was arrested for first-degree aggravated domestic assault, after police responded to an incident on Fitzgerald Road.
April 23 at 3:04 p.m., staff at Hannaford supermarket said someone vandalized the property.
April 23 at 4:15 p.m., a Maple Street resident said someone left a plush animal toy — a duck — in a briefcase on their porch, knocked on the door and vanished.
April 24 at 1:49 p.m., a woman was seen suspiciously peering into vehicles parked in Northgate Plaza. The woman, known to law enforcement, took off before police showed up.
April 24 at 2:13 p.m., a car hit a pedestrian on Bridge Street. The walker was not severely injured, and police are investigating.
April 25 at 9:31 a.m., state troopers asked Morristown cops to check on a car at the Morrisville Plaza. Police didn’t see anything amiss.
April 25 at 12:37 p.m., Mark Creedy, 34, of North Bennington, was arrested on an in-state warrant, after police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Harrel Street.
April 25 at 3:56 p.m., a person said they saw a loose dog on Cochran Road and tried to get the pooch into their car to take it home, but it ran off toward the Pinecrest mobile home park.
April 25 at 4:27 p.m., staff at the Morrisville Plaza dental clinic complained about a person outside asking passersby for money.
April 25 at 4:40 p.m., same panhandler, same plaza. This time it was staff at TD Bank with the report.
April 25 at 6:44 p.m., a man knocked on the door of a Park Street home, saying he fell in the river — an unlikely story, police say — and asked if he could warm up inside. He did, but then wouldn’t leave, until the person who lives there called police.
April 25 at 8:35 p.m., a person said a stranger in a black SUV on Harrell Street approached some kids and invited them into the car.
